Description

A fun and delicious twist on a classic dessert combining crunchy Rice Krispie cereal, gooey marshmallows, peanut butter, and chocolate.


Ingredients

  • 3 tablespoons butter
  • 1 package (10 oz) mini marshmallows
  • 6 cups Rice Krispie cereal
  • 1/2 cup peanut butter
  • 1/2 cup caramel sauce
  • 1 cup chocolate chips
  • 1 teaspoon vanilla extract

Instructions

  1. In a large saucepan, melt the butter over low heat.
  2. Add the mini marshmallows and stir until completely melted. Remove from heat.
  3. Stir in the peanut butter and vanilla extract until smooth.
  4. Add the Rice Krispie cereal to the mixture and stir until well coated.
  5. Press the mixture into a greased 9×13 inch baking dish.
  6. Drizzle caramel sauce and sprinkle chocolate chips on top.
  7. Allow to cool and set, then cut into bars and enjoy!

Notes

Use fresh marshmallows for the best texture. Be careful not to overheat the marshmallows to avoid a tough mixture. For extra flavor, you can add a pinch of salt.
