- 2 cups crushed chocolate sandwich cookies (like Oreos)
- 5 tbsp melted butter
- 2 cups cream cheese
- 1 cup sugar
- 1 tsp vanilla extract
- 1 cup sour cream
- 1 cup semi-sweet chocolate chips
- 1 cup milk chocolate chips
- 1 cup white chocolate chips
- 3 large eggs
Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 325°F (160°C).
- In a mixing bowl, combine crushed cookies and melted butter to form the crust. Press this mixture into the bottom of a springform pan.
- In another bowl, beat cream cheese and sugar until smooth.
- Add vanilla extract and sour cream; mix well.
- Melt the semi-sweet chocolate chips and fold them into the mixture.
- Add eggs, one at a time, mixing well after each addition.
- Pour the cheesecake filling over the crust.
- Bake for 55-60 minutes or until the cheesecake is set.
- Remove from the oven and let it cool before refrigerating for at least 4 hours.
- Serve chilled, optionally topped with whipped cream and chocolate shavings.
Notes
Make sure the cream cheese is at room temperature for easy mixing. Use high-quality chocolate chips for the best flavor.
