- 1 package gnocchi (store-bought or homemade)
- 2 tablespoons olive oil or butter
- Salt, to taste
- Parmesan cheese, for serving
- Optional: garlic, spinach, or cherry tomatoes
Instructions
- Heat a non-stick pan over medium heat and drizzle in olive oil or add a pat of butter.
- When the oil is hot, add the gnocchi in a single layer; do not crowd the pan.
- Let the gnocchi cook for 2-3 minutes until golden brown on one side before flipping.
- Continue to fry for another few minutes until crispy and golden on all sides.
- Optional: Add garlic, spinach, or cherry tomatoes towards the end of cooking for extra flavor.
- Remove from the pan, sprinkle with parmesan, and season with salt to taste. Enjoy!
Notes
Never overcrowd the pan for best results. You can also try tossing with browned butter and sage or adding fresh veggies for extra flavor.
