A delicious blend of apples and pecans in a flaky Danish pastry tart that is perfect for any occasion.

- 1 package of puff pastry
- 4–6 medium apples, peeled and sliced
- 1/2 cup of brown sugar
- 1 cup of chopped pecans
- 1 cup of sugar
- 1 tsp of cinnamon
- 1/2 tsp of nutmeg
Instructions
- Preheat your oven to 400°F (200°C).
- Roll out the puff pastry on a baking sheet lined with parchment paper.
- Prepare the filling by peeling, coring, and slicing the apples, and toasting and chopping the pecans.
- Mix the apples, pecans, brown sugar, sugar, cinnamon, and nutmeg in a bowl until combined.
- Place the filling in the center of the rolled-out pastry, leaving a 1/2 inch border.
- Fold the edges of the pastry over the filling and brush with egg wash.
- Bake in the preheated oven for 30-35 minutes until golden brown.
- Let cool on a wire rack before serving.
Notes
Store in an airtight container for up to 3 days. Reheat in the oven at 350°F for 10-15 minutes.
