Instructions
- Preheat the oven to 350°F (175°C). Grease and flour a cake pan.
- In a mixing bowl, beat the eggs and sugar until light and fluffy.
- Gradually add the melted butter and milk, mixing well.
- In another bowl, whisk together the flour, baking powder, and lemon zest.
- Slowly add the dry ingredients to the wet mixture, stirring gently until combined.
- Pour the batter into the prepared cake pan and smooth the top.
- Bake for 25-30 minutes or until a toothpick inserted into the center comes out clean.
- Allow to cool before serving.
