Instructions

  3. In the same pan, melt butter, add flour, and whisk until combined; gradually pour in chicken broth and simmer until thickened.
  4. Plate the mashed potatoes, add the chicken on top, drizzle with gravy, and garnish with fresh thyme.

Notes

For extra flavor in the mashed potatoes, consider adding roasted garlic or cream cheese. Use a meat thermometer to ensure chicken reaches 165°F.
